Hi Friends! I hope everyone is having an amazing week. I know so many find the holiday season stressful, and yes, that can be true. But I truly adore the holiday season and celebrating with friends and family! Holiday parties galore call for endless outfits. I love a festive look, but sometimes you want something thats a bit more casual, with a little edge, instead of feeling like you dumped a bucket of glitter on yourself. 
A great pair of boots can help add a little edge to any outfit. This pair from Sudini adds a whole lot of comfort to the look as well. The centerpiece of this look is one of my favorite pieces from Marissa Webb, the queen of downtown edge, but in the most refined way. Winter dressing is all about layers. I took this double breasted vest top and layered a turtleneck bodysuit under it. Paired with a little distressed denim and tall boots, the look is so easy and great for rocking from office to holiday party. 
Style tip: I buttoned the vest off center. You can do this with any kind of vest for a look with a bit of interest.
