The Great Chateau Hunt

Welcome to Chateau #1, Chateau Challain! Now I’ll be honest, there was actually a different chateau number 1 but it didn’t make the cut. Trevor and I actually had a moment on our way up the drive of real chateau number 1 and wondered where the heck we went wrong/holy crap I hope their photographer made a ton of money off that job because he/she made it look fantastic!!!! So back on track, we drove from Paris to a small town outside of Conde. This beautiful chateau hidden in the French country side is about as grand as it gets. Four towering stories greet you as you drive up the majestic entry. Come on a tour with me of the grounds, interiors, and AMAZING marble staircase. Oh yeah, and there’s a photo shoot!

Paris In A Day!

Come with me on an adventure. One that is sure to have ups and downs, filled with beautiful places, amazing food and unexpected twists and turns. I’m getting married! And after a year of being happily engaged, my fiancee and I are finally planning our wedding. We’ve made the decision to take on a destination wedding, and not just any destination…France. So come along on our journey of a 5 day excursion through France to visit 5 venues. The good, the bad and the holy crap! We start our adventure in Paris, where it all began. Our first trip together was Paris, 3 months into our relationship, my fiancee Trevor surprised me with tickets for Valentines Day. Paris will forever hold a special place in my heart…oh and it just happens to be one of the most amazing cities in the world filled with fabulous food and fashion.

We only had one day in Paris. So what does that mean? Power visit to our favorite must see places before we are off to Burgundy! And what would Paris be without a little photo shoot in a beautiful little interior courtyard?!

A few of my favorite places in Paris:

La Mercerie Parisienne: If you love cute little trim and fabric stores as much as I do you should definitely check out this place. Additionally they are stocked with Liberty Of London fabrics!

Liberty fabrics galore!

Tassels anyone!?!

Shopping in the Jewish Quarter: Stopped in to check out these awesome Jeremy Scott sneakers at Adidas! Kind of obsessed!

Lunch at THE BEST FALAFEL ever! L’as Du Fallafel.

The perfect end to an amazing day, family dinner in Paris.
