Sitting at the Marissa Webb show, the words effortlessly cool were streaming through my head.  Marissa’s collection is the perfect pairing of staple pieces layered in just the right way.  We saw lots of hard tailoring mixed with soft feminine lines.  There were perfectly tailored blazers layered over flowing dresses, army jackets that were cinched at the waist, and lots of variations of the shirt dress.  I especially loved the reacurring construction detail we saw on so many of the dresses which was a simple little button placket running down the entire center back.  The color pallete was easy and oh so possible to intigrate into your wardrobe.  I’m already seeing these chic little numbers hanging in my closet this spring.
