The morning light on the New York Public Library steps is a thing of fairytale style beauty. It’s one of those amazing New York City monuments that makes you feel like you’re in a movie.
I love New York and the hustle. It’s a city the encourages you to push harder, work harder, run faster and go bigger. It’s a city of dreams, creativity and fast-paced everything. I often fall right in step with the city and am at a dead sprint most of the time. It takes effort to slow down. This holiday weekend was perfect for a little city staycation and time to pump the breaks.
With the gorgeous September light and beautiful quite city, my friend Shane Lavancher and I shot a very special post. As some of you may know, I was married in France last year. It’s a place that holds a very special place in my heart.
When the beautiful site Suzanne Ceremony, which focuses on hair accessories hand crafted in France sent me this amazing crown from Paname, I knew it was going to make me feel a bit nostalgic and very fairytale-esque. The outfit I created around this beautiful piece was to be inspired by my memories in France last year. The white etherial skirt that catches the wind paired with a slightly edgy, origami-like top, just felt perfect.
The whole thing made me want to be back in France. So bon jour to this glorious holiday weekend!
