I love a great escape from NYC! And when one of my friends suggested we go to an adult camp for the weekend, I was all in! Water skiing, mountain biking, ariel courses, archery, camp fires and more were in my sights! There’s something about letting yourself be a kid again that’s refreshing and absolutely needed when you live a fast paced life in the city.
So off we went to Club Getaway! Here’s a little taste of some of our fun adventures while at camp. May I point out the insane game we played in one of the last images. The game is called Knocker Ball and is an altered version of soccer where you run around in a giant bubble and try and knock people out of your way to score a goal. It was insanely fun, but put me on my ass after about 10 min of playing.
The scenery in Connecticut was so beautiful and serene I couldn’t help but snap a few shots the day we arrived. Nothing too fancy, just comfy and chic when heading out of the city. I chose simple staples to highlight one of my favorite trends right now, fringe. We’ve been seeing fringe everywhere, but especially on bags, shoes, skirts and jewelry. This little beauty from Marie Odile for Soltek is summer perfection. The leather fringe and bucket bag style is so effortless. Perfectly paired with my favorite denim patchwork skirt from Zara.
